Dear fellow Silicon Valley History Online Participants:
I am delighted to announce that the California Room Database is now available
for remote access searching through the California Room Web Page.
This database contains thousands of references to topics in California and
local history. It is the product of many years of indexing and research by
California Room librarians and staff. While many topics are included, it is
especially useful in researching local names from the 19th and early 20th
century.
For many years the California Room staff have used the database to help
researchers in the California Room. I hope that it now will be useful to you and
your clients. Please feel free to spread the word to anyone else who might be
interested.
