Walter’s family lost touch with him after he disappeared from San Diego in 1920, but research in records and photographs revealed his story. Learn how collaboration, evidence correlation, and predictive research solved the century-old mystery of Walter’s fate.

Sharon Hoyt, MLIS, CG, is a genealogy researcher, speaker, and writer from California’s Silicon Valley who enjoys researching intriguing stories and brick wall cases. She has spoken at local, regional, state, and national events; taught at nationally recognized workshops; won Family History writing contests; and published her work in well-known genealogical journals.
